In May 2009, I began a course of personal training to develop body flexibility with my trainer - the most flexible person on the planet, listed in the Guinness Book of Records. In September 2009, I started to train at the FLEXDEREK.COM/EN school organized by me.
Sounds easy and reads with some subconscious doubt, right?
But there is not enough space to describe how, after daily training for 2-3 hours a day and about the same amount of time in passive stretching, my legs and my whole body ached so much that I could barely walk (from fatigue and dizziness) that I wanted everything quit and return to a warm office in the winter and cool in the summer, and calmly sit at the computer and gain, already at that time, dropped kilograms.
There was a turning point when doubts overcame me so much that I was already on my way back for a ticket. It was a crash course in the development of body flexibility. And this was my first lesson - you cannot quickly stretch a non-flexible person comfortably. When doing stretching (development of body flexibility), remember that only a person who was not flexible in the past, who stretched in adulthood, can help you stretch safely.
Being a flexible person since childhood (doing dancing or gymnastics from the age of 2-3) does not remember being flexible and perceives the flexibility of the body as the norm and, often, such trainers injure their students, not calculating the tension force for a non-flexible person with his non-plastic body. Students who were traumatized in the past during such trainings often come to classes to recover and try again their luck in stretching with me, and this is what they are doing now.
