My name is Vyacheslav Komakha. Since 2009, I’ve helped people develop flexibility — adult beginners and athletes, people returning to training and those just getting started.

To me, flexibility isn’t a competition or a test of willpower. The goal isn’t to force the body into a position. It’s to understand what it can do and gradually expand those possibilities without pushing too hard.

Where my work began

In 2008–2009, I trained with Mukhtarbek Gusengadzhiev, a Guinness World Records holder. The exercises I learned during that time became part of the foundation for my later work.

Over time, though, I realised that a set of exercises alone wasn’t enough. People have different experience, movement habits and responses to training. Developing flexibility means working with the person in front of you — not just chasing a goal such as the splits.

Why I chose a non-contact approach

I gradually developed my own non-contact stretching method. The coach doesn’t pull the student into a position or push them deeper with their hands. Instead, I explain each movement, observe the student’s technique and help them manage their effort and attention.

This approach works online: I can watch a student move over video, explain the details and adjust their technique while they remain in control of their body and the intensity of the exercise.

It isn’t a promise of instant progress, and it isn’t a one-size-fits-all plan. Results depend on your starting point, consistency and individual needs.

How I work with students

We begin by discussing your goal and looking at your current range of movement. From there, I create an individual plan based on your flexibility and biomechanics. During training, I explain the exercises and observe your technique, adjusting the plan as you progress.

You might have a specific goal, such as doing the splits, or simply want to move more freely and understand your body better. You can start at your current level — you don’t need to become flexible before booking a session.

A freer way to move starts at your own pace

The format of my work has changed over the years, but the principle hasn’t: attentive coaching, clear explanations and gradual progress without forcing the body. Today, I coach online and help students build a practice around their own goals and abilities.

If you’d like to get started, choose a training format and tell me what you want to work towards. We’ll decide on a sensible first step together.
